Troop 53 has a long has a long history in Darien

Dating back to the 1920’s, Troop 53 has produced more than 200 Eagle Scouts since 1928. Troop 53 currently has approximately 70 boys and meets at The Andrew Shaw Memorial Scout Cabin on Tuesday evenings.

To join Troop 53, a boy must be 11 years old or older, have earned the Arrow of Light award in Cub Scouts, or have completed the 5th grade. Prior membership as a Cub Scout is not required.
