Darien’s Troop 35 was created when…

Darien’s sole troop, Troop 53 became large enough that it needed to be divided into two new troops, and in 2004, Troop 35 was formed. Since 2004, Troop 35 has continually grown and flourished and now hosts close to 70 Boy Scouts. Troop 35 meets at The Andrew Shaw Memorial Scout Cabin on Monday evenings.

To join Troop 35, a boy must be 11 years old or older, have earned the Arrow of Light award in Cub Scouts, or have completed the 5th grade. Prior membership as a Cub Scout is not required.
